Charity concert of the Olivia and Friends Choir

In a moment it will see the light of day the debut album of the Olivia Centre Choir “Good Tony”. Of course, in front of us – and above all – in front of the Choristers Premiere concert! It’s going to be really “Good Concert” and an exceptional concert. Dozens of performers from many, very, very different companies from Olivia have been united by a great passion for music and this passion will be shared with you by the Artists 6 December at 18:30 on the 34th floor of Olivia Star, to… make the world a little better. In addition to the Olivia Choristers, soloists Diana Gliniecka and Filip Łach will perform as guest speakers, accompanied by Marcin Twardowski.

A Good Concert, a Good Goal

The goal is noble – to support the construction of the Respite Care Centre, which is being built in Gdańsk on the initiative of the Hospice Foundation – and each of your donations/donations is a help in its implementation. To take part in the concert, simply support Olivia’s charity fundraiser.

About the Olivia Centre Choir

The Olivia Centre Choir under the direction of Wiktoria Pagieła is a group of people of different ages, representing many organizations. Their love for music brought them together. Currently, the team consists of almost 50 people and brings together representatives of Olivia Centre companies, such as: Pomerania Development Agency, Amazon, Avaus, Bayer, EPAM Systems (Poland) sp. z o.o., Energa from the ORLEN Group, Kitrum, Lyreco, O4 Coworking, PKN Orlen S.A., RICOH Business Services, Skills Group, Winning Moves. Originator and organizer of many music events. President of the Gdańsk Branch of the Polish Association of Choirs and Orchestras (2012-2014). Puck received Fryderyk 2014 in the category Album of the Year – Symphonic and Concert Music.

Let’s experience it again: “With a heart with Ukraine” – with music in the heart

We are waiting impatiently, because in a moment the debut album of the Olivia Centre Choir “Good Tony” will see the light of day. Of course, in front of us – and above all in front of the Choristers – Premiere concert! It will be a unique concert, because it will be a charity concert. We believe that it is worth doing good and we are convinced that #RazemMozemyWiecej, so this concert , as you can guess, will not be the first to support a noble cause. And so, let’s recall the charity concert debut of the Olivia Centre and Friends Choir – “Heart with Ukraine”. And we immediately invite you to the ” Good Concert” on December 6 on the 34th floor of Olivia Star.

The news of the war in Ukraine fell on us overnight. Everyone tried to help as much as they could: with their knowledge, talent, free time, helping hands. At that time, on the initiative of the Olivia Centre Choir (the originator of the event was Wiktoria Pagieła, the conductor of the Olivia Choir, who lives permanently in Poland and comes from Zhytomyr), we started working on a charity concert “Heart with Ukraine”. We engaged artists, created a script, and organized a safe space. It was a touching and unique event – on March 28, 2022, on the stage of the 34. Almost 100 artists performed on Olivia Star’s floor.

The concert was attended by: Zoya Rozhok, soprano from the Ukrainian National Opera; Sviatoslav Kondrativ, a well-known Ukrainian violinist and composer; Viktor Korunnyy, French horn player, soloist of the Lviv Philharmonic; Artem Storozhuk, a graduate of the Academy of Music Pyotr Tchaikovsky in Kiev and Liana Kasyun-Korunna, a Ukrainian pianist, graduate of the Lviv Academy of Music.

 

 

The artists were accompanied by Polish musicians and singers: the Cantores Veiherovienses choir conducted by Tomasz Chyła and the Olivia Centre Choir. We heard: Emilia Osowska – mezzo-soprano, Krzysztof Pawłocki – guitar ( Les Femmes); Art’n’Voices team; mezzo-soprano Marta Jundziłł, alto countertenor Jakub Borowczyk; flutist Magdalena Burkiewicz; Martyna Chomuszko – piano and pianist Maciej Baczyński.

 

The concert began with the performance of the Prayer for Ukraine by all the artists. “Great and only God, save Ukraine,” is how the song begins. The music was composed over 130 years ago by Mykola Lysenko, the founder of the Ukrainian national opera.

 

All proceeds from the tickets went then, as we promised, to the Regional Coordination Centre Gdańsk Helps Ukraine for the purpose of layettes for small children.

This is how it was during the first charity concert, and today we invite you to another unique event. It will be a truly “Good Concert ” and a unique concert, because it will be a charity concert promoting the debut album of the Olivia Centre Choir “Good Tony”. Dozens of performers from many, very, very different companies from Olivia have been united by a great passion for music and the artists will share this passion with you on December 6th, to… make the world a little better. The goal is noble – to support the construction of the Respite Care Centre, and each of your donations to the fundraiser we have just launched (link to it below) is to help in its implementation.

We are collecting gifts for children from Ukraine!

We warmly invite you to take part in the collection of new Christmas gifts for children from Ukraine. When the world around us is collapsing, it’s hard to think about Christmas gifts for the youngest.

We want to help the little ones from the war-stricken country experience a joyful Christmas. We still have some time, because traditionally Orthodox Christmas is celebrated on January 7. So we also have a chance to share what we and our children find under the Christmas tree. We are starting the fundraiser on December 21st!

What do we collect?

Only new: toys, games, stuffed animals, sports equipment, building blocks, puzzles and art supplies designed for children of early school age.

Where do we collect?

Gifts can be placed in white wooden boxes under the Christmas tree on the ground floor in the Olivia Star lobby, from December 21 to January 3.

Until when does the collection last?

Until January 3, 2023 Then, the collected gifts will be donated to schools in Ukraine.

Our O4 Coworking has prepared a summary of the year 2022. The focus was on development, integration and the changing needs of the business environment. Event room

O4 Coworking integrates! He has been creating an extraordinary community for years and knows perfectly well how it is done. This is confirmed by subsequent surveys carried out among O4 Coworking Residents. As part of the Eventownia, integration events for companies are organized. If you think that integration means free food and drinks, come to O4 and see how it can be done differently, bringing out the best in employees and building lasting bonds within the team.

 

 

O4ian’s Calendar

The calendar was born from the notes of Marta Moksa, CEO of O4 Coworking, which were collected into one project and published as a calendar for 365 days. Every day is an inspiration, motivation, curiosity or entertainment. All of this is graphically framed by Katarzyna Kocur and the charges of the
Generation Foundation
. All proceeds from the sale of the calendar will be used for micro-scholarships for talented children under the care of the foundation.

The Buddha Project

The Buddha Project was born out of a need of the heart. After the outbreak of the war in Ukraine, many residents of this country fled to Polish. O4 Coworking provided free workspace for people who decided to come to the Tri-City. But that’s not all. O4 Coworking has launched… Buddy. A co-working friend helped them find their way in a new environment, to meet such challenges as travelling around Gdańsk or Gdynia, buying the Internet, visiting a doctor or dentist, understanding the rules of offices. A friend was/is also a person with whom you can spend your free time, go out for pizza, go to the cinema, go for a walk, talk about various topics…

 

 

Flow Club

The Flow Club is a project that brings together businesswomen from the O4 Coworking environment and beyond. Members of the Club meet regularly once a month during workshops conducted by an expert, share their experiences and establish new contacts – business and social. The Flow Club is an extraordinary energy of women of action, knowledge, but also time together that gives a sense of belonging. This year, Flow celebrated its 1. A birthday party that swept away a crowd of women, also dancing.

 

 

Variety Market

The Variety Market is one of O4’s younger projects. In 2022, it was carried out twice, but everything indicates that such a fair will stay in Olivia for longer. The idea to support local designers and artists, while creating an intimate market with unique trinkets and small works of art, turned out to be a good one. Olivia joined the action, inviting charities with craft stands.

 

 

Birthday of O4 Coworking

Celebrating the birthday of O4 Coworking is already a tradition; 7. The birthday – the first after the pandemic – turned out to be an event that attracted numerous guests, friends and residents of the coworking space.

 

 

Speed Dating Recruitment

This year, there were two editions of this event, which has already become a permanent fixture among O4 Coworking projects. The formula taken from speed dating works great in the recruitment process and is appreciated by HR experts and employers. Speed Dating Recruitment also receives high marks among young employees – graduates entering the labor market. The formula of Recruitment Speed Dating is light and short, thanks to which the recruitment process is not stressful and allows you to save time.

Olivia Centre – this is where you recruit

The change in the nature and use of modern offices means that business centres are fiercely competitive, outdoing each other either in terms of lease terms or prices. Olivia has chosen her own path of providing tenants with what they need most. One of these areas is recruitment support.

 

At the beginning of 2022, the real estate market was informed that Olivia’s residents are recruiting nearly 2,000 at the same time. Employees. Soon, companies such as Amazon, Nike and Telus , which provides services for giants such as Facebook, were joined by Capgemini, which announced the construction of its structures at the level of 800 people in the coming months. Such a dynamic development of companies and the resulting needs are actively supported by Olivia Centre, which develops a number of their own and supports the initiatives of consulting companies operating in its buildings, so that companies can acquire the staff they need to achieve business success.

 

It was here that the Tri-City HR Club was established five years ago, currently associating 200 people involved in the recruitment and personal development of employees from all over the Tri-City. The club is a field for the exchange of knowledge, analysis of trends and cooperation with numerous consulting companies and academic centers. It is also a recruitment hub that provides job offers for many employers in one place, which makes the search easier for all interested parties.

 

– Our activities focus on analysing trends and changes in the market situation – says Małgorzata Gwozdz, the initiator of the club and at the same time the director of the HR department at Olivia Centre. – The club provides many benefits for the entire Tri-City HR community. Recent years have introduced huge changes to our environment, especially in the work model, which required HR management departments to work very hard and adapt the organization to the revolution that was associated with the organization’s transition to remote work. Our cooperation during this period allowed us to share experiences, inform about the implemented solutions, and learn and motivate each other. In the post-pandemic period, we are preparing our members for the challenges of hybrid work, ongoing employee motivation, and incentives contributing to their return to the office.

 

Coworking O4 is an organization that not only provides space for startups, but also actively supports developing companies from all over the center in terms of acquiring employees. O4 has established cooperation with the most important universities in the entire agglomeration, thanks to which a speed-dating project was created. Recruitment speed dates, during which students have the opportunity to present themselves to employers and get their dream job before graduation. Speed-dating was intended to be mainly an introduction to the actual recruitment, serving to interest both sides of the process. However, as the experience from the previous 4 editions shows, the initial selection of candidates carried out by the O4 team results in nearly half of the candidates meeting the expectations of recruiters already at the first stage, being offered a full-time job soon after the process is completed.

 

The involvement of O4 Coworking is not limited only to the organization of meetings between employers and students. They are preceded by a series of meetings during which job candidates learn self-presentation, CV development and the ability to extract as many facts as possible from their experience that have a chance to catch the eye of company representatives. In this way, many young people come face to face with a recruiter who is well prepared and fully aware of their value and competences. This practice also affects the satisfaction of future employers, who are faced with well-motivated and trained job candidates.

 

Cooperation with schools also takes other forms. O4’s experience includes career accelerators , during which young people, under the supervision of experienced mentors from leading global corporations and innovative start-ups, work on their own projects for half a year. After the acceleration is completed, the teams present their projects in front of a professional jury, which evaluates them in terms of innovation, chances of success, as well as the ability to present their ideas as a team in front of an audience of nearly 200 people.

 

Olivia also supports a network of consulting and training companies that have been operating in her area for years. One of the most active units is the InfoShare Academy, which trains programmers, and the InfoShare conference, which have been able to count on financial and organizational support for their projects for years. Olivia is also home to the Gdańsk Foundation for Management Development and theTalent Development Centre. The former helps to develop the managerial staff of corporations, being one of the leaders of MBA (Master of Business Administration) courses in northern Poland. The Talent Development Centre organises courses for young people and adults in the field of preparation for recruitment and entering the labour market. Last year, it organized 241 variants of workshops, which were attended by a total of over 4,000 participants. persons (978 adults and 3099 adolescents)

 

Surveys conducted among employees of all companies located in Olivia show that there is something else that they themselves value, and which for them is a big magnet motivating them to come to work. It is the comfort of work and the community they feel a part of. Numerous Events such as summer on the patio with live music, catering and accompanying events, or year-round projects, such as Olivia Yacht Club, photography club, football and volleyball sections, mountain biking, cross-country running or the possibility of yoga training in the Olivia Garden botanical garden are not available in any other office center in Poland.

 

“Our research shows that both employees and employers highly value the projects we initiate, which on the one hand integrate and affect job satisfaction, and on the other hand relieve employers of the need to organize them on their own. –Says Bogusław Wieczorek, Plenipotentiary of the Management Board of Olivia Centre. What’s more, the results of the research also show that a significant proportion of people who change jobs look for it among other Olivia companies, precisely because they do not want to deprive themselves of many everyday amenities. It is a great satisfaction for us and a confirmation that the direction we have chosen is conducive to the development and success of tenants.

Co-founder, artistic director and conductor of the Olivia Centre Choir. A graduate of the Academy of Music in Gdańsk. St. Moniuszko, laureate and participant of numerous conducting and choral competitions in Poland and abroad. Including. Grand Prix at the International Choir Competition A. Dvořák in Prague for the SSW Mundus Cantat Choir, Grand Prix at the VIII Festival O Warmia Moja Miła in Olsztyn for the Tutti e Solo Chamber Choir, Grand Prix at the National Festival of Marian Song in Chojnice. Originator and organizer of many music events. President of the Gdańsk Branch of the Polish Association of Choirs and Orchestras (2012-2014). One of her greatest successes is her participation in the preparation of the Choir of the Academy of Music. Stanisław Moniuszko in Gdańsk to record an album Wojciech Kilar: Angelus, Exodus, Victoria. Puck received Fryderyk 2014 in the category Album of the Year – Symphonic and Concert Music.

And it is! It’s off and it’s ongoing! Olivia’s Soccer League. In the 2022/2023 season, 7 teams entered the competition. In the 16 games played so far, a total of 158 goals have been scored! All matches are conducted by a team of referees selected by the Pomeranian Football Association.

2022 in Olivia – the largest mixed use centre in Poland sums up the year

The revolution in the office market favours the best. This is how the past year at Olivia Centre can be summed up in a nutshell. Above-average commercialization results, broadening of the spectrum of industries that reside in Olivia and excellent attendance during events in Olivia Star’s event spaces.

 

The average annual rental result over the last 11 years has been exceeded twice. 30 thous. m.kw. The number of leased space in 2022 is a result that exceeds expectations in such a difficult market situation that affected the entire economy last year. In addition, Olivia managed to achieve a record in the number of contracts signed with new residents, of which there were 18 in total.

 

Such good commercialization results should be complemented by the renewal of lease agreements by existing residents, which confirms the high level of satisfaction with the offer available to the entire Olivia community and the level of services offered to tenants.

 

– The revolution on the office market, related to remote and hybrid work, is conducive to Olivia – emphasizes Maciej Kotarski, Director of the Commercialization Department at Olivia Centre. – Companies need fewer offices, but they want to have them in the best and most attractive locations so that employees want to come there. As a result, we have never had so many new resident entries as in 2022; That’s our record. Additionally, Companies limiting their lease space provide perfectly located and well-finished offices, which for many other companies is a unique opportunity to lease prestigious space with exceptional accompanying services offered by Olivia. This allows us to be very optimistic about the forecasts for 2023 in terms of the volume of leased space and the level of occupancy in all buildings, despite the ongoing trend of downsizing offices.

 

The new tenants include the largest and most innovative companies in the world, as well as start-ups that have been developing to become leaders in their segments over the years. In 2022, companies such as Capgemini, Nike, Graphcore, Softserve, Acaisoft, Sentillia B.V, Just Join IT, Polskie Sieci Elektroenergetyczne, Skills, Squad Poland and Itechart opened their offices in Olivia. Such a result is also a significant stimulus for the development of the entire region. Each of these investments is accompanied by the launch of recruitment processes, which at their peak last year exceeded even 2,000 positions.

 

The O4 coworking space, operating in four of Olivia’s buildings, can boast similarly high results. Its space in 2022 was leased for an even larger area than was available. Due to the huge interest in leasing, the coworking operator decided to lease the offices it occupies to its clients, temporarily moving its work to other spaces in Olivia.

 

– The presence of coworking in the business environment is of great value to the entire Olivia. Our tenants are often innovative companies that bring incredibly fresh energy to the O4 community, but also implement creative and extremely interesting projects. These are both smaller enterprises and large corporations that are looking for space to implement short- or long-term projects – says Marta Moksa, director of O4 coworking. The situation in our offices means that we are also growing, as a result of which we are planning to take over more offices that we will be able to offer in the form of coworking in 2023.

 

Olivia is attracted not only by the class of offices and the level of service provided, but also by additional offers, which have been developed for years in this largest business center in Poland. Among the most acclaimed offers is the exotic Olivia Garden, which in 2022 won the prestigious European Property Awards, known as the architectural Oscar. Equally popular are the top floors of Olivia Star, where there is an observation deck at a height of 130 meters above the ground, and restaurants, run by Paco Perez, winner of the 5***** prestigious Michelin culinary guide on the 33rd floor of this building. This year can also be considered successful for the event and conference center on the 34th floor of Olivia. Jazz, rock and theatre concerts were held in its spaces, and on the stage located 150 meters above the ground, such stars as Krystyna Janda, Andrzej Grabowski, Krzysztof Zalewski, Daria Zawiałow, Wojciech Mazolewski, Leszek Możdżer and Grzegorz Markowski performed. And on New Year’s Eve, former Genesis singer Ray Wilson closed the year 2022 with a concert.

 

 

Olivia Centre in Gdańsk is the largest and most modern office and business center in the Tri-City agglomeration. Its target size will significantly exceed 200,000 sq m, and already amounts to 175,000 sq m, which has made Olivia Centre the largest office project in Poland. Olivia’s largest residents include Airhelp, Amazon, Arrow, Bayer, Deloitte, Energa, EPAM, Fujifilm, Nordea, PwC, Ricoh, Sii, Staples, ThyssenKrupp.

 

At the same time, Olivia Centre is much more than buildings. Several hundred business, educational, cultural and sports events take place here throughout the year. A unique combination of services and amenities for tenants and guests has been created in the office center, which consists of eight restaurants, 4 cafes, a professional two-storey fitness center, a nursery and kindergarten for 100 children, a primary school, a high school, an IT academy, a medical center, a dentist’s office, a pharmacy, 5 bank customer service points and 5 conference centers, O4 – one of the largest coworking spaces in Poland, but at the same time a vast patio filled with vegetation, fountains and places to relax. In the spring of 2021. Olivia Centre has been subjected to the most restrictive analysis conducted by experts from the International Well Building Institute (IWBI) in New York. The safety of building users was checked, as well as solutions improving the quality of life in the business centre, also in the context of the ongoing pandemic. Olivia received the maximum score of 25 out of 25 points. It achieved this result in 22 basic categories and in 3 new ones related to the innovations implemented in its area. This is the first such result in the world, which confirms that Gdańsk’s buildings are among the world’s top business leaders, especially since the 2022 re-categorization confirmed the result obtained a year earlier. Other OBC buildings receive high marks from BREEAM ecological certification from excellent to very good.

 

In July 2019, on the 32nd, 33rd and 34th floor of Olivia Star, the highest building in northern Polish, a project was launched, constituting a unique, additional offer attracting guests from all over the world to Olivia Centre. On the 32nd floor, a public viewing level has been opened, allowing a 360-degree view. for the whole Tri-City. It offers not only a stunning panorama of the Bay of Gdańsk, the Tri-City Landscape Park and the Gdynia cliff coast, but also originally designed interiors, catering and recreational facilities. On the 33rd floor of the building there are two prestigious restaurants: Arco and Treinta y Tres, run by Paco Pérez, one of the most successful chefs in the world. On the 34th floor, at a height of nearly 160 meters above the ground, a multifunctional conference center located the highest in Poland has been created.

 

Located on the ground floor of Olivia Star, the exotic Olivia Garden is a green enclave in the heart of the Olivia Centre. The garden offers an area of 740 m2 with a height of 9 m, with a mezzanine of more than 100m2 . The garden was planted with 4,000 plants representing more than 150 species. In 2021 won an award in the CIJ Awards Poland competition, in the Best Interior/Exterior Design category, and in 2022 the European Property Award. The aim of the project was to create a space that would allow you to relax, calm down and rebuild your inner harmony, which is extremely pleasant among such a large number of delightful plants reaching up to 11 meters in height. Olivia Garden’s space complemented the concept of a modern centre open to employees and residents of the Tri-City, where the needs of stakeholders are treated as a priority.

 

Olivia offers over 1600 parking spaces, a number of electric car charging points, points for storing and charging electric scooters, several hundred bicycle racks and large changing rooms with showers for cyclists in each of the 8 buildings.
