Gdańsk offers very good business, work and living conditions. Domestic and international communication is being developed. Many young people who speak foreign languages study in Gdańsk. The cooperation between business entities and universities and local authorities is very good. All these aspects attract new inhabitants and investors to our city. The demand for office space of the best quality remains high, says Maciej Grabski, the president of Olivia Business Centre. “The nomination to the Property Prize contest reflects the appreciation of the Olivia Business Centre development vision. We are also happy with this distinction because getting it required both the votes of an independent group of experts and the readers of the PropertyNews.pl portal to whom we are very grateful for their commitment so far.”

About Olivia Business Centre

Olivia Business Centre is the most prestigious and modern business centre on the north of Poland, located in the very centre of the Gdańsk Metropolis. The largest office project in Poland will emerge here; its current area amounts to 73 500 m2 and the target area amounts to over 120 thousand m2. OBC houses offices of firms such as Allianz, Amazon, Bayer, Energa, PwC, Sii, and ThyssenKrupp.

The Centre has been developing systematically since 2010 at the rate of one building per year. Completed office buildings: Olivia Gate, Olivia Point, Olivia Tower, Olivia Four and Olivia Six opened in May this year surround a patio with greenery and fountains where a unique conservatory is emerging. The construction of the Olivia Star high rise that will become the highest building of the centre began in April this year. The O4 area or the business accelerator with instant offices has been officially opened lately. The Centre has more than 1600 parking places and cloakrooms for bikers.

However, the Olivia Business Centre is much more than just buildings. Business, educational, cultural and sports events take place regularly there. Residents of the Centre have an access to many services such as: the support of the recruitment of workers, legal and financial advice, marketing and ICT support. 3 conference centres, a medical centre, restaurants, a kindergarten and a day care, 3 banks, a modern junior high school, a café, a beauty shop, a notary and a electric car charging point also remain at their disposal.

About the Olivia Six office building

Olivia Six is a slim, glass building with 18 floors (15 above-ground + 3 underground ones) and the state-of-the-art elevation in the TGU system, meeting the 2021 EU requirements. This system, along with the ventilation units equipped with heat pumps, the green roof enabling water retention and the use of rainwater for the watering of plants, reduce the demand for energy and operating expenses.

The office building supplies over 17 thousand sq. m of rentable office space. The main hall was executed in the form of a great chessboard of black and milky stone while the designer public lobby is imaged after an English club library. Olivia Six guarantees a great number of underground parking places, free parking places for bikers and cloakrooms with showers. The building is in the course of the BREEAM EXCELLENT certification process.

To reduce the insolation of interiors vertical glass strips that when exposed to sunlight at various angles look different at different times of the day, were installed on main elevations. During the night, they are delicately illuminated in various colours by LED systems and, as a result, the elevation is alive round the clock.
