Since his debut on the stage of Milanese La Scala, he has been regularly performing in the most famous opera theatres in the world, for example in New York, Paris, London, Vienna, Barcelona and Berlin. He has been the first singer for 70 years, who encored during opera performance in la Scala (2007) and performed a famous aria called "Ah mes ami" from "The Daughter of the Regiment" by Donizzetti, which includes 7 successive high C's! He repeated this success in Paris and New York. Florez has been granted numerous awards. He has performed in Poland only once during Wratislavia Cantans festival in 2003, when he was at the beginning of his international career.

In Polish Baltic Philharmonic, he will be accompanied by Vincenzo Scalera – a pianist, American artist, who has accompanied the most famous opera singers in the world, for example Montserrat Caballé, José Carreras, Vittorio Grigolo, Katia Ricciarelli or Renata Scotto.
