The first tropical trees in Olivia Garden planted!

On the premises of Olivia Business Centre, the largest business centre in Poland, right next to the tallest building in Pomerania, Olivia Star, a year-round garden is being built – Olivia Garden. We have just planted the first tropical tree. There will be thousands of plants throughout the garden, representing more than 150 different species. We’ll have even more to tell you about it soon!

The newly prepared space includes not only plants, but also places to relax, benches and catering outlets. The aim is to create a unique place of relaxation and unwinding, but also to stimulate creativity and create a space for less formal meetings. The business centre, accessible to everyone, especially the Residents, will provide a constant and weather-independent opportunity to commune with nature.

This is a unique project on a Polish scale, whose author is the Malinowski Design Urban & Landscape studio, and the Design Anatomy studio was responsible for the implementation.

We wanted to give the Residents of Olivia Business Centre spaces that will become their favourite places for private and business meetings, for everyday work, but also for calming down and focusing surrounded by exotic vegetation. Nature has a great effect on human well-being, and our garden will be within reach regardless of the season. – says Krzysztof Król from Olivia Business Centre.

Olivia Garden was created in response to the needs of the residents of the business centre and for the residents of the Tri-City and tourists, who since 2019 have been visiting the catering outlets, the conference centre and the observation deck, located on the top floors of Olivia Star, which is part of the Olivia Business Centre.

The implementation of the concept required the involvement of not only architects, but also an interdisciplinary team of specialists, consulting solutions with Olivia Business Centre Residents, sociologists, psychologists and botanists.

– Olivia Garden is part of a wellbeing project that has been implemented in Olivia for years. – says Krzysztof Król – In the summer, Residents meet on the patio, enjoy very popular sports sections, and organize exhibitions of paintings, photographs and sculptures. Olivia is a strong and active community that has shown its worth more than once. Once the restrictions are lifted, the garden will be open to the public and we will be happy to welcome all interested guests so that they can also feel comfortable here. – Adds.
