On October 15-19, we invite you to the second edition of the Holistika Festival. We have taken it under our patronage, because the motto of the event – “well-being” – is very close to us. For years, we have been trying to explore what this well-being is and how to perceive it with the work environment in mind. In the last survey, we also asked you, the employees of the Olivia Centre, about what you think and feel when you hear this concept, how you perceive it and how you are affected by the harmonious interaction of body, spirit and mind.
The program of the event included several dozen lectures and meetings conducted by doctors, scientists, psychologists, dietitians and therapists. Occur Including. Ph.D. Andrzej Silczuk, MD, who will talk about mental health and addictions, Dr. Preeti Agrawal, a specialist in integrative medicine, Dr. Monika Łukasiewicz, an expert in hormones and their impact on well-being, as well as Dr. Joanna Wojsiat, who will spread knowledge about the work of the brain. Katarzyna Błażejewska-Stuhr will present the relationship between food and emotions, Tomasz Eichelberger will conduct classes on Qigong, and prof. Ph.D. Dariusz Kałka will touch on the still underestimated topic of obesity in men.
In addition to the lectures , bodywork workshops and preventive examinations are also planned, which participants can take advantage of free of charge. In mobile diagnostic points, breast screening and dermatological examinations will be carried out, m.in. The workshop part will include yoga, Pilates, Schulz’s autogenic training, neuroyoga classes, as well as workshops on creating Jungian mandalas and mindful movement practices.
A lot of emotions can also be aroused by the planned discussion panels. Among them were conversations about whether “the pretty have it easier”, about the role of the environment in shaping the quality of life and about breast cancer prevention as a shared responsibility. The discussions will be attended by, m.in. Karolina Sulej, Jo Jurga, Ewa Puszkiewicz and Marta Moksa from O4 Coworking.
During this year’s Holistics Festival, topics related to brain neurobiology, the importance of sleep, the well-being of space, diet and metabolism will be discussed. Experts will share knowledge on how to take care of eyesight, hormonal balance, wise supplementation or mental health. This year, there will be workshops related to conscious, body-supporting movement and surprises. The whole event will take place in an environment of people who care about good relationships and are looking for a way to a long life in fitness and a sense of well-being.
