About HYROX
Hyrox combines an 8-kilometer run with 8 functional training challenges. This system originated in Germany in 2017, and today it is one of the fastest-growing fitness sports in the world. Hyrox events are currently held in over 80 cities – from Delhi and Istanbul, through Sao Paulo and Acapulco, to Cape Town, Sydney, Beijing, and Toronto. Every year, you can also compete in Poland.
Hyrox competitions follow a pattern: 1 kilometer run – 1 station with a specific functional exercise (e.g., lunges with a sandbag, ergometer rowing, or farmer’s walk). And so on, eight times. During each event, participants face the same distance and challenges. On average, completing the race takes about 90 minutes, although the best athletes can finish in under an hour.
