The Talent Development Center invites seniors and all novice computer users to the workshops.

Banking applications, e-office, e-patient, social media and many more… It is difficult to function today without a computer or phone with Internet access. It gives us many possibilities, but how to use it safely?

We will learn about it in theory and practice at our workshop “In the labyrinth of digitization“, during which we will discuss issues such as:

• How to connect your computer/laptop to the “Internet” by wire and/or wire.
• Securely use your web browser to search for information on the Internet.
• Secure login to websites.
• Using websites on a computer, e.g. pracuj.pl, praca.gov.pl, Allegro, Google Maps, Facebook.
• Support for free applications available on the Internet (text editing, photo editing).
• Installation and logging in of the application on mobile phones.
• Using websites on mobile phones, e.g. Allegro, Google Maps, Facebook, mObywatel, jakdojade, mojeIKP
• The use of QR codes in everyday life.

Teacher

Arkadiusz Cimiński – a graduate of the Gdańsk University of Technology. For many years, he conducted classes in Gdańsk secondary schools as well as lectures and classes at Tri-City universities. He also conducts classes in social skills training, mechatronic device programming, and programming. She is interested in new technologies and their use in everyday life. Privately, she loves walking, basketball and a good TV series.

When?

The classes last two days: April 19-20, 2023. from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., stationary at the Talent Development Center.
