Hours. 10.00 – 11.00 WORKSHOP IN OLIVIA GARDEN

Choral workshops: music soothes morals

The choral workshop is dedicated to all people who want to focus on self-development. Singing is designed to heal with music, relax, release endorphins, take care of emission and intonation, support diction and give a chance to sing in polyphony. Getting to know new compositions, cooperation in a group, working with a conductor and elements of acting exercises – these and other tasks will await the participants of the workshop.

THE WORKSHOP IS ADDRESSED TO YOUNG PEOPLE, TEACHERS, PARENTS, ARTISTS, EDUCATORS

About the host:

Anna Emilia Kapka

Musician, composer, improviser, producer of dance and music performances, teacher of music theory with many years of experience in working with children and young people.

She gained her qualifications to work at the Gdańsk Academy of Music at the Faculty of Music Education, Church Music, Choral Conducting and Jazz – specializing in Eurhythmics. She acquired competences in the field of innovation in education through many years of work at the Suzuki Institute – an institution teaching instrument playing the Schinihi Suzuki method and a certified Music Mind Games course.

Creator of the Dalcroze Theatre. Dalcroze’s theatre gathers people in creative need: creative, looking for dance, theatre and musical expression. Its aim is to produce musical performances based on original scripts.

In her work, Anna is guided by the principle “Nothing limits us, we can do anything!” In its assumption, the key to finding understanding with the student is partnership, passion and dialogue. It is natural in the process of education to look for new solutions.

Its mission is to develop the ability of instrumental improvisation in students. Strengthening the sense of self-autonomy in creative expression strengthens the young musician in the purposefulness of education in the field of playing an instrument.

She would like young people to grow in self-esteem.
