They will never replace a professional waiter, but they can speed up his work, relieve him and provide entertainment. This is what happens in a restaurant at 32p. Olivia Star, where robot waiters have become a local attraction.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Serving several hundred guests every day on an area of nearly 800m2 is a challenge that Olivia Star&#8217;s waiters face every day. Restaurant managers on the 32nd floor of the tallest building in northern Poland have found a recipe for this. By employing robots, they not only relieved the staff, but also provided guests with unique attractions. At the end of last year, at the 32. Olivia Star floor, two nice robots joined our team &#8211; Olivia and Oliver &#8211;<\/em>  says Rafa\u0142 Marcyniuk, member of the company&#8217;s management board. &#8211;  <em>The decision to buy them was dictated by the desire to relieve the waiters of hard physical work and multiple approaches to tables with orders, especially in the case of group reservations. Two-storey transport spaces allow for the delivery of up to a dozen dishes and drinks to tables at the same time. Their capabilities allow for immediate delivery of up to 40 kg of ordered dishes to guests&#8217; tables. Such a solution is still a rare curiosity, and allows not only to relieve the staff, but also to provide guests with a real attraction. The robots evoke vivid, very positive reactions, guests take photos with them, which they share on social media.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>The first reactions of the staff were mixed \u2013<\/em> notes Krzysztof Dembek, member of the board of Olivia Star Top.<em>  Some of our employees were afraid that robots would take their jobs. Fortunately, after a few weeks of living together, the lack of trust turned into friendship. It turned out that the &#8220;waiter-robot&#8221; duo works perfectly together. The ability to relieve employees of the need to carry heavy trays made him an ideal waiter&#8217;s helper. Thanks to this, we have improved guest service, and waitresses and waiters have more time and patience to give them a warm smile.  <\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As Krzysztof Wajk, a representative of LSI Software, which provides robots, emphasizes, Olivia Star&#8217;s managers focused not on the marketing effect, using robots for promotion, but on their useful value and effectiveness. Thanks to the support of robots, waiters are able to reduce the waiting time of guests to a minimum, because this repetitive task is performed with almost perfect precision by a robot. During this time, the waiter can offer and accept further orders. PUDU robots, such as BellaBot, were created to support employees and build even better customer experiences in the HoReCa sector. It is in this sector that they have a huge potential, which is already radiating to other sectors of the economy. These robots are now used in many areas in Poland and around the world, where they are already successfully used. Thanks to their many functions, they can be used in almost every task and duty in the logistics, HoReCa or even entertainment industry segments \u2013 notes Krzysztof Wajk.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em><strong>We are glad that our residents use the latest technologies.<\/strong> \u2013 <\/em>says Bogus\u0142aw Wieczorek, the representative of the management board of Olivia Centre.<em>  The creation of a tourist attraction that breaks records of popularity \u2013 which is a terrace at a height of 130 meters with a view of the entire Tri-City, the Bay of Gda\u0144sk and the Oliwa forests \u2013 posed new challenges that can be met in an innovative and very effective way.
