The new tenth floor office space in the Olivia Six building will be for the specialists and managers of the newly formed team.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>thyssenkrupp is a world leader in advanced industrial technologies; it delivers components to such sectors as automotive, aviation and maritime. Furthermore, it manufactures cranes and lifts as well as industrial equipment for special applications. In total, the company employs over 160,000 people around the world.  <strong>The Gda\u0144sk centre provides services for more than 1,500 companies in the thyssenkrupp group all over the world.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>At present, the company employs over 100 people in Gda\u0144sk who work mainly in IT, Finance and Accounting, HR and Property Management Divisions.<\/strong>  The Gda\u0144sk centre continues to develop its services department. The new offices will be occupied by system and application administrators, SAP software specialists, IT infrastructure engineers, IT processes support specialists and project teams. thyssenkrupp is looking for qualified professionals in these areas and those who would want to improve their skills and obtain attractive new qualifications. The condition is a good command of English. The command of German would be an advantage; besides, the company offers specialist language courses for its employees. In addition, it assists in employee development by offering training and the opportunity to pursue certificates as well as practical learning through work with experienced professionals from Germany, the US and other countries. Future employees may also expect training programmes in the technologies, processes and IT solutions the company uses.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Within the next few years, thyssenkrupp plans to employ 700 people in Gda\u0144sk.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;<em>Gda\u0144sk is becoming a very important centre for IT services to the thyssenkrupp group. Similar centres have also emerged in other places in the world, but this location would be a leading one in terms of headcount. Therefore, we are looking for people with vast experience who want to develop their career in SAP consulting, leaders ready to take responsibility for creating their own teams and people without any particular experience but eager to learn<\/em>&#8220;, sums up <strong>\u0141ukasz Narojczyk<\/strong> Manager of the Application Support and Development Department.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Since its early days, the project has been supported by the <strong>Invest <\/strong>in Pomerania initiative, in particular by the Pomerania Development Agency and the <strong>Gda\u0144sk Economic Development Agency<\/strong> (<strong>INVESTGDA).<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;<em>I congratulate thyssenkrupp on such a dynamic growth and on new ideas.
