The meeting will be held on the 20 February (Monday) at 6:00 p.m. at Olivia Sky Club (Olivia Tower building, 12<sup>th<\/sup> floor). This time we will be hosting Maciej Kosycarz \u2013 a photojournalist and an author of the series of albums entitled  <em>Fig. Reaper: How to Take Amazing Photos<\/em>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The program includes, among other things, a conversation with our guest and presentation of unpublished photos from Oliwa, which describe the history of people who live here, the history of places, which change dynamically before our very eyes and also the colourful history of Gda\u0144sk and Pomerania from the archives of Zbigniew and Maciej Kosycarz. The session will be led by Monika Bogdanowicz (Olivia Business Centre).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Olivia Cooltura is an interdisciplinary project of Olivia Business Centre, dedicated to the promotion and popularisation of broadly understood culture in its every aspect. Olivia Business Centre wants to cooperate with people who are interested in artistic and cultural events \u2013 the residents of OBC and the inhabitants of Oliwa and the whole metropolis. We want to integrate our society, build and develop good relations. Every year, there are more than 300 events organised at OBC. Some of them are open for all residents of Tri-City.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Zbigniew Kosycarz <\/strong>(1925-1995) was one of the most popular figure in Gda\u0144sk Coast. He came to Gda\u0144sk in 1945. Initially, he was living in Sopot. He worked for Gdynia newspapers and from the very first days he was creating a photographic chronicle of the region. He was called a &#8220;flying reporter&#8221;. No event could take place without his presence. He was documenting also everyday life and did not part with his camera even for a moment. Although he was cooperating with &#8220;G\u0142os Wybrze\u017ce&#8221;, a daily newspaper from Gda\u0144sk, throughout his professional life, he was also publishing for many other publishing companies. Press photography became for him not only a job, but also a hobby which filled all his life. Out of many awards and distinctions the title of &#8220;A citizen of Gda\u0144sk of the year 1972&#8221;, which he won thanks to the votes of the readers of &#8220;Wieczor Wybrze\u017ce&#8221;, was the most valuable for him. Since 1997 &#8220;Gda\u0144sk Press Photo&#8221; \u2013 a Pomeranian press photography contest named after him \u2013 has been organised.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Maciej Kosycarz <\/strong>(born in 1964), a graduate of the University of Gda\u0144sk. The author of several thousand photos published in press. He has been a professional photographer since 1990. Initially, he was working for &#8220;Nasz Tygodniki&#8221; and &#8220;Tygodnik Wieczor&#8221; (published mainly in Kashubia) and later on for &#8220;G\u0142os Wybrze\u017ce&#8221;. In May 1996, he established Kosycarz Foto Press KFP photo agency and continued his father&#8217;s work. More than 100 Polish and foreign titles and press agencies are KFP&#8217;s clients. He has presented his photos on several exhibitions and he has also published twenty photo albums. In 2001, he organised an exhibition &#8220;Ordinary City \u2013 Gda\u0144sk in the Lens of Father and Son&#8221;, which could be seen in Budapest, Mostar (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Belgrade, Gda\u0144sk, Kalmar (Sweden), Holbaek (Denmark) and Kaliningrad (Russia). Since 1997, he has been a co-organiser of &#8220;Zbigniew Kosycarz Gda\u0144sk Press Photo&#8221; \u2013 a Pomeranian press photography contest. In the archives of his agency there are more than 640 thousand photos available on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kfp.pl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">www.kfp.pl<\/a> website, which are updated every day. It is currently the biggest local photo service in Poland. Just like his father, out of all awards won throughout his entire life, he values the title of &#8220;A citizen of Gda\u0144sk of the year 2009&#8221; the most. In 2010, he received the Pomeranian Artistic Prize from the Marshal of Pomeranian Voivodeship. In 2014, he received Sint Sua Praemia Laudi Prize in the category of culture. In 2009, the City Council of Gda\u0144sk awarded the chroniclers of the city \u2013 Zbigniew and Maciej Kosycarz \u2013 the Medal of Mestwin II for lifetime achievements in photography.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>The entry is free.
