One of the most well-known travel portals, TripAdvisor, has published a rankingof the best tourist destinations in the world<\/strong>. In the ranking, which includes as many as 296 items, there was one Polish city,<\/strong> which was ranked 5th. spot – Gdansk!<\/strong><\/p>\n

The ” Destinations on the Rise”<\/em> ranking of the best tourist destinations, which is published annually by TripAdvisor, is based on the opinions of travelers from all over the world, based on the increase in the number of positive reviews given by visitors to a given city. The assessment is subject to m.in. accommodation, restaurants and sights. Gda\u0144sk was ranked 5. the highest among all European cities.<\/strong><\/p>\n

“We were happy to receive the information about another appreciation of the tourist attractiveness of Gda\u0144sk. We are constantly developing our tourist offer and promoting our city abroad. All the more pleasing are the high positions we occupy in the rankings created by our guests. It is worth reminding that last year we took third place in the European Best Destination poll –<\/em> says the Mayor of Gdansk, Pawe\u0142 Adamowicz.<\/p>\n

Places not to be missed include the Main Town (known as the “Old Town of Gdansk”), the Museum of the Second World War and St. Mary’s Basilica. In total, however, as many as 296 tourist attractions were taken into account, each of which was rated by Internet users.<\/p>\n
