October has been recognized around the world as Breast Cancer Awareness Month for many years. In this special period, we take up topics related to the prevention, diagnostics and modern treatment of breast cancer. On the occasion of Pink October, we also promote cancer prevention and vigilance. We also encourage you to self-examine your breasts. See how to perform the test correctly.<\/a><\/span> And remember that regular examination allows you to detect cancerous changes at an early stage and, as a consequence, apply effective treatment. The film was prepared by the
\n Pink Butterfly Association<\/a>
\n<\/span>, a non-profit organization supporting patients treated at the Breast Cancer Center of the University Clinical Center in Gda\u0144sk. It was established in November 2019 by medical staff, patients and friends gathered at the UCC Breast Cancer Center. The Association’s mission is to help people suffering from cancer, including breast diseases, at all stages of the disease (from diagnosis, through treatment and convalescence).<\/p>\n

On the patio on October 16 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m<\/strong> . there will also be A special tent for m.in. stations with phantoms,<\/strong> where you will be able to learn how to properly self-examine your breasts<\/strong>. There will be leaflets \u2013 a cheat sheet on how to get tested along with information on where to go for help.<\/p>\n
