Organizational values. Most companies have them, but rarely can use them. Proof? As Gallup research shows, although 73% of employees consider the organization’s values to be close, at the same time 77% say that values do not support them in their daily work. Values are therefore more labels that we feel good about than signposts of action that help us make decisions when processes and guidelines are lacking. However, it does not have to be this way, and it certainly should not be!<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

So what can be done to ensure that values support employees on a daily basis?<\/strong> You have to go back at least a few thousand years to understand how values were used by primitive societies.
