One hundred graphic designers and IT specialists will find jobs in the new Quad/Graphics Shared Service Centre, one of the largest printing firms in Europe. Projects will be executed for the largest global brands. The new Quad/Graphics office will be opened in the Olivia Four building of the Olivia Business Centre.

Quad/Graphics is a global supplier of printing services for a wide group of publishers of magazines, catalogues and advertising materials, including many global brands. The company whose headquarters are in the U.S. employs about 22 thousand workers in North America, South America and Europe. More than 1700 people work in its Polish branches.

Gdańsk is another city after Piła and Wyszków where Quad/Graphics develops its Shared Service Centre. Workers employed there will perform a wide range of graphical and IT work on behalf of American contracting parties. “We have proven that technical expertise and language skills of our employees guarantee the efficient rendering of such services. We carry out the successful offshoring activity in two other locations and want to develop it further”, said Jakub Dyląg, the Managing Director of Quad/Graphics Europe.

The educational offer and the willingness of representatives of local universities and upper secondary schools to cooperate encourage the firm to locate its new office in Gdańsk. “We believe that the rapidly developing Tri-City is an attractive place for business”, says Jakub Dyląg and adds: “we also count for the fruitful cooperation with local schools such as the Academy of Fine Arts and the Gdańsk University of Technology that educate students at faculties we prefer and will help us find many young talents.”
