Source to Pay Team Leader 

 

Purpose:

By leading a team in the Process Operations within Shared Service Centre Gdansk. The Team Leader is responsible for organization effectiveness and sustainability by providing leadership and motivation to deliver seamless and efficient processes to deliver mixed strategic and/or tactical operational measurements.

 

Task & Responsibilities:

  • Operations:
    • Source to Pay process 
    • Key accountability in the process execution of Source to Pay processes in accordance with the group, divisional and category strategy. Supports and enforces the strategic direction of policies and procedures
    • Responsible for timely and accurate processing of S2P Process activities by leading, managing and engaging a team of Associates, Senior Associates, Experts and Senior Experts
  • People Management:
    • Ensure Talent Management and people development within his/her team in order to build a strong, motivated, passionate, diverse and capable staff and also a talent pipeline. Ensure a cross-trained and multi-skilled, proactive team
  • Additional value contribution:
    • Identify and manage the continuous improvement in the team, through individual performance, sharing best practices across teams & Shared Service Center Delivery Network. Streamline activities by benchmarking with other Source to Pay Teams
    • Steers the process operations resource in terms of cost and FTE budgets
    • Manage and support integration of new procurement activities and further Merger & Acquisitions Projects for S2P activities within SSO environment
  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Follow up and resolve issues and escalations from internal and external stakeholders. Collect compliments and share within the team through an open feedback culture
  • Risk Management:
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

 

Qualifications & Competencies:

  • University degree or equivalent education
  • 3 years experience on managerial;/TL position
  • Source to Pay experience highly beneficial
  • Very good skills or experience on management positions or coordinating functional teams and good change agent
  • Very good communication and presentation skills
  • Project management skills and experience would be beneficial
  • Languages: English fluent
  • Experience in Shared Service Center beneficial
